Questions about this step 5
Two is enough, and it is one of the most common bookings. The chef hire fee is the same whatever the group size, so a couple pays a little more per head, and still gets a menu built around them, no taxi, and no restaurant booked out at 7pm.
They can. Give your best guess now. The final head count is fixed three days before the service date; after that, any extra guests are charged and anyone who cannot come is credited back.
Children 5 to 11 eat from the same menus at half price, and under-5s dine free. One nuance the step above does not mention: per-person extras such as the dessert package bill children 5 to 11 at the full rate, because they get a full portion.
From 10 guests an assistant chef joins, so the food still lands hot and together, and from 21 there are two. It appears as its own line in your estimate, so you see it the moment it applies. Under-5s never count towards that number.
Per head it usually lands near a good restaurant, and the gap closes as the group grows. The shopping, the cooking, the serving and the washing-up are all in the per-person price. Nobody drives, nobody watches the clock, and the children can eat early.
Questions about this step 5
No. These are your preferred days. Chef Putu confirms the final schedule with you after you send the request, and nothing is booked until you pay a deposit.
At least 48 hours before the first service. In July, August, December and January the good dates go one to two weeks ahead, so if your dates fall in those months it is worth sending this now and settling the details later.
Seven days or more before the date, you can move it free of charge to any date within six months, or cancel and get the full deposit back. Inside seven days, moving the date is still possible subject to availability, but the deposit is no longer refundable.
Yes, and most guests do. He plans the menus across the days so nothing repeats, and longer bookings can qualify for preferred pricing.
For breakfast, about an hour before you want to eat. For lunch and dinner, an hour and a half to two hours before. You pick the serving times with him afterwards, so plan the day here, not the clock.
Questions about this step 5
No. Picking one here tells Chef Putu the direction. The exact dishes are settled with you closer to the date, and you can mix dishes from different menus.
The shopping, the ingredients, the preparation, the cooking, the serving and the kitchen cleanup. The only other line is the chef hire fee.
Yes, and swapping or adding dishes for a dietary need costs nothing extra. Halal, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and nut allergies are all routine.
Put allergies in writing before the menu is confirmed, so the shopping and the prep can be planned around them. A villa kitchen is not an allergen-free environment, so for a severe allergy tell us plainly and we will tell you plainly what we can guarantee.
No. The day counts are per menu, so three dinners can be three different menus. Add days to one menu, then add days to another.
It covers the chef’s time, his travel to your villa and the work on site, and it is charged once per service, so a breakfast and a dinner on the same day carry both. There is no separate transport surcharge, no service charge and no expected tip.
Questions about this step 5
Yes. Extras stay open until the menu is confirmed, three days before the service date. Nothing here makes your request harder to change.
Food only. Breakfasts include juice, coffee or tea. Beyond that, a bartender’s fee covers his time per session, and the alcohol and mixers are billed separately. If you would like us to stock the bar, turn on the drinks package and we will quote it once we know what you drink.
Fresh tropical flowers, candles and styled place settings on the villa’s own table, done before you sit down. It is what turns a dinner into the evening people photograph.
Only if you want one. It earns its place at a party or a celebration; for a quiet dinner for four, the chef serves the food and nobody misses it.
Ask. A birthday cake, a specific wine, a sunset canapé round on the terrace: put it in the message box on the next step and Chef Putu will tell you whether it is possible and what it costs.
Questions about this step 5
Chef Putu reads it himself and comes back to you by email or WhatsApp to confirm the details and answer anything still open. Nothing is booked and nothing is charged at this point.
It is a real calculation, not a teaser. It already includes the 10% government tax and shows the 30% deposit. It becomes final once the menus and the head count are confirmed, and a quote holds for 14 days.
A 30% deposit confirms the booking. The remaining 70% is settled the day before, when we visit to check the kitchen, in cash (rupiah, euro, Australian or US dollars) or by bank transfer. Nothing is due today.
The area is enough to prepare a quote. The full address comes later, along with a contact who is reachable on the day.
Most villa kitchens are fine. Gas or electricity and running water is the real requirement, and Chef Putu brings his own specialised tools. That is exactly what the visit the day before is for. If you are unsure, send a photo of the kitchen on WhatsApp and you will get a straight answer.
